The Supagas LPG cylinder size you purchase depends on intended use, the quantity of gas required, and delivery location. A good rule of thumb for cylinder capacity is that one kilogram equals approximately 1.96 litres of LPG.
Cylinder capacity refers to the cylinder’s volume: litres is technically the more correct terminology. For safety reasons, Supagas cylinders are filled to 80%, accounting for the expansion space (ullage) the LPG fills once heated. Cylinder dimensions are approximate: variations may occur due to manufacturing tolerances. Height includes the valve. Container sizes may vary from state to state.
